Production and Selenium-enriched Effect of Selenium-enriched Rice in Northeast China

Abstract: The statistical data of selenium-enriched rice research in China over the past 20 years were statistically analyzed, and the results of analysis of selenium- enriched rice yield and selenium content in Northeast China were obtained. The data showed that the selenium application method for producing selenium-enriched rice was mainly foliar application, accounting for 92.86% of the statistical sample. The main fertilizer types included organic selenium fertilizer and inorganic selenium fertilizer, accounting for 67.35% and 32.65 respectively of the total sample. %; in the heading stage and heading stage, the selenium-enriching effect of rice was the most studied, accounting for 36.54% and 21.15% of the collected sample, respectively; when the application rate of organic selenium-rich foliar fertilizer exceeded 20 g/hm2 (based on the amount of selenium) It can cause a certain reduction of rice yield; foliar application of organic selenium-enriched fertilizer, rice yield range is between -3.09% and 18.77%, with an average yield increase of 5.55%, and rice selenium enrichment between 0.04 and 0.78 mg/kg. The average selenium content is 0.24mg/kg; the application of inorganic sodium selenite can increase the yield of rice by 7.20%~20.00%, the average yield is 7.36%, the selenium content of rice is between 0.09~53.39 mg/kg, and the average content is 4.04 mg. /kg; In the case of applying inorganic selenium fertilizer, 60% of the sample selenium content exceeds the relevant standards of the selenium-enriched rice in Northeast China (DB34/T847-2008). Overall, only 38.96% of the sample rice selenium content meets the requirements of DB34/T 847-2008. Therefore, in the production of selenium-enriched rice, it is recommended to use organic selenium fertilizer preferentially, and use and use inorganic sodium selenite with caution. In view of the current situation that the selenium content in the soil is poor in most parts of China and the selenium intake of the local residents is seriously insufficient, in recent years, various places have been researching and developing the production technology of selenium-enriched agricultural products, and the selenium-enriching boom has been set up in the selenium-deficient areas. With the deepening of people's understanding of the important functions of selenium, many scholars have carried out research work on plant selenium enrichment from different angles.
Rice is one of China's main food crops, and about 60% of China's population feeds on rice. The development of selenium-enriched rice in Northeast China has important social and economic significance for improving the overall health of the people, improving the quality of rice, increasing the added value of rice, and increasing farmers' income.
Since the early 1990s, some scholars in China have begun to research and develop selenium-enriched rice. After more than 20 years of hard work, with the development of selenium-enriched fertilizers and the improvement of modern scientific and technological conditions, many researchers are here. A fruitful result has been achieved on the road of research. By collecting relevant literature, the author analyzes and summarizes the previous experimental research and data on selenium-enriched rice, in order to provide data support and scientific basis for the production and further research of selenium-enriched rice in Northeast China.

The principle of screening is “not applying other types of fertilizers while applying selenium-enriched organic fertilizers (inorganic sodium selenite is applied with other fertilizers)”. Mainly for the selenium enrichment of rice, selenium-enriched fertilizer types, fertilizer application rate, fertilization method and period, percentage of rice yield increase, etc. A total of 38 literatures on selenium-enriched rice were screened out, and the literature was classified and comprehensively analyzed.
The experimental development and research areas of selenium-enriched rice in Northeast China mainly include 14 provinces and cities such as Jiangsu, Hainan, Heilongjiang, Hubei, Anhui, Hunan, Zhejiang, Shaanxi, Fujian, Guangdong, Sichuan, Xinjiang, Chongqing, Guizhou, etc. With the advancement of time, the research area and scope are expanding. There were only three articles related to selenium-enriched rice published in 1993-1997.
There were 4 articles published in 1998-2003, 8 articles in 2004-2008, and 23 related articles in 2009-2013.
The soil types selected in the experiment include paddy soil, yellow brown soil, horse liver soil, yellow clay mud, red mud, yellow mud soil, meadow white soil, granite brick red soil, river silt, sand soil, red and yellow mud, etc. Soil type.
